 The Salvation Army Pre-School Playgroup is a well established registered charity providing sessional care for up to 26 children. Situated in the Citadel, Gillygate, we provide high quality childcare in a warm and caring
atmosphere and welcome families from all cultures and backgrounds; supporting children for whom English is an additional language.

We can now offer a lunch club on a Tuesady and a Thursday from
12.30-1.15pm

We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance and also the Groves Early Years Partnership.
The Pre-School accepts the government nursery funding for 3 and
4year olds and some additional funding may be available for 2 year olds
from low income families via City of York Council.
