The Salvation Army pre-school was established 1993. We serve families from both the local community and surrounding areas.
The Pre-School has two large rooms containing a wide variety of age appropriate equipment and resources designed to stimulate all aspects of children’s development.
In preparation for School, children learn to develop their social skills through play and interaction.
We provide opportunities for them to learn how to share, take turns and become more independent.
Educational activities are provided which will help to develop key skills needed for the future.
We are inspected by OFSTED and follow the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE curriculum providing a range of experiences in all of the 6 areas of learning:
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Communication, Language and Literacy
Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
Knowledge and Understanding of the World
Physical Development
Creative Development
